TimeSlice for Windows Guided Tour

Time Tracking and Billing Application

Tour Stop #8 - Sort the Time entries

You can sort rows on the values in a column by clicking on the column header in the main Time Table. A left mouse button click will sort the rows with the column values in ascending order. A right mouse button click will sort the rows with the column values in descending order. When you click on a column header, that column will be the primary sort column. If the column you clicked on is not the Start or Stop Date and Time, then automatically, the second sort key will be the Start Date and the third sort key will be the Start Time.

TimeSlice also has a Sort Dialog box to specify the order of the time rows in the TimeTable of the main TimeSlice Window, the printed reports and the exported rows. None, one, two or three rows can be specified to sort the time records. The example below will sort all of the time records by start date, then the records with the same start date will be sorted by start time, then the records with the same start date and time will be sorted by the name in the Project column.
