TimeSlice for Windows Guided Tour

Time Tracking and Billing Application

Tour Stop #7 - Run TimeSlice with minimal usage of the screen

TimeSlice provides two ways to reduce the size of the TimeSlice windows but still provide easy access to control the TimeSlice timer while you are working on other programs on your computer.

TimeSlice can be controlled from the minimized icon in the task bar. The elapsed time for the active document and timer state (started, paused or stopped) is presented by the green, yellow or red "simulated light" in the task bar. The timer for each file can be started, stopped, paused and resumed from this task bar menu. You can also pop-up the Edit Time Record Dialog Box for the active time row from the TimeSlice task bar menu.

Another way to reduce the size of TimeSlice while you work on your computer is to use the compact/restore button next to the start/stop button on the TimeSlice document window icon bar. When the compact/restore button is depressed, the TimeSlice document window will be reduced in size to display only the 4 buttons of the TimeSlice document icon bar, the timer status light and the elapsed time.
