Jobs in this context refers to the Categories, Clients, Projects and Tasks.
This will open the Jobs control panel.
Choose Category, Client, Project or Task from the Job popup menu in the upper left corner of the window.
Add Jobs by clicking on the + button and delete selected Jobs by clicking on the - button (both in the lower right portion of the window.
Copy Jobs from to or from your Address Book by clicking on the Address Book icon in the lower right portion of the window.
All Jobs can have hourly rates, however, time records can only take the hourly rate from either the Categories, Clients, Projects, or Tasks. Select Category, Client, Project or Task from the Hr Rates from popup menu.
For example, in the above picture the Hr Rates from popup is set to Client, and the Client "Corporate Channels" has an hourly rate of $150. On a TimeSlice window that displays time records, set the Client of a time record to "Corporate Channels" and that time record's hourly rate will be set to $150. The same logic applies to Color and Tax Rates.
If you have a Category, Client, Project or Task that is no longer used, but you want to keep its reference available for archival purposes, set the Jobs active status to inactive by unchecking its Active checkbox. Only active Jobs appear on the time record Job popup menu, so this can keep the Job popup menus shorter, yet still maintain a list of past Jobs. Furthermore you can choose which jobs to display in the above window by clicking on the All, Active, or Inactive buttons.
Assiciations is the number of time records associated with a Job.
Time Used and Charge Used are total values associated with the Job.
